６月２６日に、新型コロナウィルス感染症の影響により、日本に入国できず海外に滞在中に在留資格が切れてしまった方などの今後の方針が発表されました。

１．Foreign nationals whose certificate of eligibility has expired

Object

• There has no change from the previous application

• Certificates of eligibility which were issued between October 1, 2019 and January 29, 2021

How to apply

Submit "Application Form for the Certificate of Eligibility" and prepare the statement of reasons

Required documents

• Application form

• Statement of reasons prepared by the accepting organization, etc.

• Previously issued certificate of eligibility (Original)

２．Foreign nationals whose period of stay expired while outside of Japan and before re-entering

Object

• Permanent resident, engineer - specialist in humanities - international service, business management, spouse or child of Japanese national

How to apply

Submit "Application Form for the Certificate of Eligibility" and prepare the statement of reasons

Required documents

• Application form

• Statement of reasons prepared by the accepting organization, etc.

３．Foreign nationals whose period of re-entry permission expired

Object

• A foreign national whose deadline for entry for his or her re-entry permission is January 1. 2020 or later

How to apply
